Visualize Yourself
For the last several weeks, in class, we are visualizing ourselves doing something we love to do or want to do. Perhaps you are healing from an injury---you picture yourself in full function again. Perhaps you have been sick---you picture yourself having more energy, being able to breathe easily, moving forward after difficult treatment. Perhaps there is stress in your life. For whatever reason, imagine yourself getting over it and getting on. We also allow a pause in order to reflect on where we've been, what we've suffered, and gratitude for being able to move on, even if it's one tiny step.
Following a couple of falls while running with Peaches, my grandpuppy, I strained a hamstring. No longer was I able to train for the Capitol 10K, I couldn't sit for more than 10 minutes without pain. Driving was super uncomfortable. My VISION was to be running the 10K, even though I was a bit sceptical it would work out.

After many days of patient healing, I slowly began to retrain while in Port Aransas. This morning I completed the Capitol 10K. It wasn't easy, but it was fulfilling. So many people fulfilling dreams.
Let's get this week rolling! I can't wait to see you all again.
