Funny Quotes on Relationships

Welcome to Yoga by Dayna! Let's finish this year with some light hearted inspiration. #fitbodies, #CoreFirst, #yoga, #inspiration

Relationships during the holidays always get tested just a little extra.

Where acknowledging the grandness of love puts stars in our eyes, witty remarks about relationships typically concern the everyday minutiae — those little annoyances that we run into daily.

  • Read further down for a sample of funny quotes about love and relationships.

  • We'll also take a look at available openings this and next week.

Many of you will be playing host/hostess or will be on the road. Be sure to catch a class or private. Privates can literally be scheduled anytime. See the schedule and proposed openings. Starting January 1, 2023, I will offer packages.

When you’re in a relationship, you’re in a band… Sometimes you sing lead and sometimes you’re on tambourine. And if you’re on tambourine, play it right.

— Chris Rock

Marriage is just an elaborate game that allows two selfish people to periodically feel that they're not.

— Paul Reiser

Women get in more bad relationships than men. Why? Because men see red flags and they bolt. Women see red flags and they say, “I can fix that.”

— Gina Brillon

In yoga, we read from The Bhagavad Gita, about knowing what one's role is in a certain situation. Is our job to "fix-it". Or perhaps we go for the blame game. There must be somebody we could point to and say "You're the reason this all went bad". That's too easy. Yoga asks us to pause and look inwardly before accusing outwardly. It's never as neat and clean as that, but it is often an ideal place to start. Sometimes, it's the mundane stuff that we wrestle with.

One of the keys to a successful marriage is separate bathrooms. When [Barack] enters my bathroom sometimes I’m like, "Why are you in here?" And he’s like, "I live here. Can I enjoy my bathroom too?" — Michelle Obama

I married for love, but the obvious side benefit of having someone around to find my glasses cannot be ignored. — Cameron Esposito

I feel blessed to have married a man who can fix things. To me, his role is to make the room messy. My role is to clean his mess. When I break stuff from using "it" too hard, his job is to fix whatever I broke. When I break "it" again, he fixes it again without showing any anger. Finally, both of our roles are help each other find our stuff. Glasses, phones, and keys top the list!

Christmas to New Years

The last week of the year is a great time to chill, to refresh, and to learn something new. Bill and I leave for Vino Vida in Fredericksburg Christmas Day (I'll be singing Christmas Eve at Emmaus in Lakeway at 6 p.m. if you'd like to come). During this week we tend to catch up on online courses we've signed up for but didn't find time to complete. We bring our calendars and map out our training courses, our teaching trips, and family trips. It's also a great time to reorganize your study and toss out old files. I have put many of my files online in order to save space. Just remember to recycle old paper!

If you happen to be in Fredericksburg that week, you are welcome to schedule a private session or join me for one of my classes. I'll be set up upstairs with space for about 3-4 others. Otherwise, all other classes and sessions will continue-virtually. Be ready to start fresh on Monday. I'll most likely be teaching from Vino Vida through 1 p.m. but that could change. If I follow this plan, I will be available for in-person sessions by 4 p.m.

Finally, have you been wanting to join us but simply cannot work with the schedule? Is there a better time for you? Please email me with your suggestions. Also, have you invited anyone to join us yet? You know how challenging it is to promote a small business. I appreciate your great reviews but I also ask for your help. Send the link above and encourage someone you love to start fresh with Yoga by Dayna in the new year.
